Questions about quotations and orders
How do I request a materials quotation?
Send the material name, required purity or specification, physical form, dimensions or particle size, quantity and delivery destination. Add any critical impurity limits and document requirements. Our team can then review the technical and commercial scope together.
Prepare your RFQ →Does a catalogue listing mean the material is in stock?
A catalogue listing identifies a material for enquiry. It does not establish current stock, an allocated batch, a fixed price or an agreed delivery date. Availability and the offered specification are confirmed in the written quotation.
Explore our materials →Is there a standard minimum order quantity?
The minimum trial/sample supply quantity is 1 kg for all products; samples below 1 kg are not supplied. Sheet orders are subject to whole-piece quantities and dimensions. Bulk quantities and packing are confirmed in the quotation.
Bulk supply enquiries →Can I discuss samples or recurring supply?
Yes. For qualification enquiries, share the evaluation quantity and acceptance criteria. For recurring supply, provide expected lot sizes, frequency and forecast volumes. Sample availability, pricing and any ongoing supply commitment require a specific written offer.
Plan recurring requirements →Questions about grades and documentation
What do 4N, 5N and 6N mean?
These labels commonly indicate nominal purities of 99.99%, 99.999% and 99.9999%. Confirm the purity basis, which impurities are included and the individual limits important to your application. A grade label alone does not define all physical, electrical or optical properties.
Read the purity guide →What is the difference between a COA, SDS and TDS?
A certificate of analysis reports stated analysis for an identified batch or sample. A safety data sheet addresses product hazards and handling. A technical data sheet describes technical characteristics or nominal specifications. Check product identity, scope and revision; these documents serve different purposes.
Compare document types →Can I request technical documents before ordering?
Identify the exact material, grade and form, and tell us which document you need. Availability, confidentiality, timing and whether information is indicative or batch-specific are clarified for the enquiry. A general specification should not be treated as a laboratory result for an allocated lot.
Request technical documentation →How should I specify a powder or custom form?
Provide the required size range or distribution, its measurement basis, morphology and any relevant moisture or density limits. For rods, sheets, blanks or pieces, include dimensions, tolerances and drawing references. State units and test methods where these determine acceptance.
Quality requirements →Questions about origin and supply
Does the company location determine material origin?
No. Gallium Global, LLC operates from Louisiana, United States, and sources materials internationally. Manufacturing location, country of origin and dispatch point are confirmed for the specific supply. They must not be inferred from our company location.
Supply and sourcing →Are gallium and germanium rare earth elements?
No. Gallium and germanium are specialist materials, but they are not rare earth elements. Our catalogue includes both these materials and rare earth elements such as yttrium and neodymium. Specify the exact element or compound required.
Explore rare earth metals →Do photographs represent the exact lot I will receive?
Product photographs help illustrate the catalogue. Unless explicitly identified as lot-specific, they do not prove current stock, origin, purity, condition or a batch result. Request the evidence needed for the actual supply under discussion.
Discuss lot-specific requirements →Questions about payment and delivery
Which payment milestones apply?
The applicable payment schedule is confirmed in the accepted quotation. Standard bulk terms are 60% against proforma invoice, 30% against shipping documents, and 10% within five business days after the goods arrive. Different terms expressly agreed in writing apply to that transaction. Verify payment instructions through official company contacts.
Payment information →How are freight and delivery responsibilities agreed?
Provide the destination country, named port or delivery place and any preferred delivery term. Freight, insurance, clearance, duties and transport responsibilities depend on the agreed written offer. Timing and shipment feasibility require confirmation for the material and route.
Shipping and delivery →How do I report a shortage, damage or specification concern?
Contact the team with the order reference, material and lot information, a clear description and supporting photographs or relevant documents. Preserve the packaging and evidence while the issue is reviewed. Follow the applicable order terms for inspection and reporting.
Returns and claims →Questions about company and contact
