How to order metals.
From specification to shipment.
Send the technical and commercial scope, review your written offer and confirm the documents before placing an order.
Start your materials enquiry ↗1. Prepare the material brief
Identify the material, grade, purity basis and critical impurity limits. State the form, dimensions, tolerances or particle-size requirements, quantity and receiving destination. Attach a drawing or controlled specification where relevant.
For a trial or qualification lot, describe the evaluation quantity and the documents needed. Trial and sample minimum order quantities vary by product and supply availability; each product has its own minimum, confirmed in your quotation; sheets are subject to whole-piece quantities and dimensions. Availability and offered quantities are confirmed in the quotation.
2. Request and compare the offer
Use the materials quotation form or email sales@galliumgloballlc.com. Include any origin restriction, independent inspection requirement, proposed Incoterm and named place.
Review the specification, quantity, packing, document scope, quotation currency, validity and delivery arrangements together. Ask for written clarification of any open item or difference from your requested specification.
3. Confirm the order documents
Check the accepted quotation and proforma invoice against the agreed scope. Confirm the company details, order references, material description, quantities, document requirements and payment milestones.
For recurring supply, identify each proposed shipment quantity and schedule. A forecast helps planning but does not by itself reserve material or create a future delivery commitment.
4. Follow the agreed USA payment terms
Samples and trials require 100% advance payment before processing and dispatch. We accept bank transfer and cryptocurrency; all cryptocurrency payments receive an 8.5% discount, shown on the quotation and PI.
The standard bulk schedule is 60% against proforma invoice, 30% against shipping documents, and 10% within five business days after the goods arrive. Confirm the terms applicable to your order in the accepted quotation and proforma invoice.
Use accounting@galliumgloballlc.com for invoice references and accounting correspondence. Any different commercial arrangement must be expressly agreed in writing. Read the USA payment terms.
5. Coordinate shipment and receiving review
Confirm the destination, receiving contact, packing and documents needed for the agreed delivery. Product origin, dispatch point and company location are separate details and should be identified for the proposed supply.
At receiving, compare the shipment and documents with the order references and agreed acceptance specification. Follow the returns and claims process for a discrepancy, retaining the information and evidence relevant to the review.
See shipping and delivery, quality documentation and the metals RFQ checklist for preparation details.
